Mason City Volunteer Center was established in late 2014 as a collaborative effort led by Blue Zones Project-Mason City along with City of Mason City Volunteer Services department and Youth Task Force. Since its inception MCVC continues to operate under the supervision of HEALTHY – Mason City (formerly Blue Zones Project – Mason City).
Our goal is to inspire more youth, families, seniors, businesses, and service organizations to volunteer and to improve the volunteer opportunities in our community while providing educational support and technical assistance to its member organnizations.
The Mason City Volunteer Center will continue to cultivate individuals to volunteer in the community as a way to promote well-being and fulfill their individual sense of purpose. MCVC also works with not-for-profits, governments, schools, service organizations and worksites to promote volunteerism and supporting the organizations willingness to give back to the community for a common goal.
Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in your community and boost your well-being.
Join others in our community who wake up feeling inspired. Use your gifts and passions to help improve the well-being where you live, work, and play!
